• Grand Bridal Co. offers on-site bridal and formal hairstyling services. Clip in extensions, accessory, or veil placement is complementary for all bridal services.

At this time, I do not offer make-up services.

  • Sure do! I am an on-site bridal specialist, so I will come to you! I am located in the Grand Rapids, MI area, but will travel anywhere (even internationally!) to service you on your wedding day.

Venues further than 1.5 hours from home location and/or start times earlier than 7am may require a hotel stay the night prior to wedding day. We can chat more about the specifics for your wedding!

  • Getting started is simple! Fill out the contact form on the Services page and I’ll contact you within 3 business days. Once we connect, I’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions you may have along the way.

  • I’m collaborative, straight-forward, and dependable. I will work with you to create a hairstyle that works best with your hair type, style of dress, or overall vision. I will be honest with you and accommodating towards your goals and dreams. I’m also here to keep the vibes high on wedding day, anticipate your needs ahead of time, and create a safe space for you to be yourself!

  • Unfortunately, no! This is a common misconception. It’s much harder to make hair soft, voluminous, and hold a curl if it’s weighed down with heavy product and excess oil. It’s necessary for me to choose where to add grit and/or texture with my preferred styling products where it’s needed most.

  • I will provide a pre-wedding wash kit to all brides at the trial appointment. This kit includes shampoo, conditioner, and light styling product chosen for your hair type to use the morning of your wedding. This ensures your hair is thoroughly clean and I know what products were used prior to your wedding day service.

I ask that you wash (shampoo twice!) & blow dry your hair the morning of wedding day. Letting hair air-dry accumulates more oil at the scalp/roots and limits volume in the hair. You don’t have to worry about drying it perfectly straight, just a rough dry with a hairbrush will do!

For those with textured, curly, or coily hair, we can chat in more detail about the best way to prep your hair for your final style.

  • Please use your normal shampoo (shampoo twice!) and conditioner, followed by a light styling product for condition and shine. A light styling product might include a leave-in conditioner, lightweight cream, serum, or oil. Please blow dry your hair to ensure maximum volume and reduce oil buildup at the scalp. Hair should be washed the night before or morning of wedding day.

  • As soon as possible! April-October is considered peak wedding season so my weekends tend to fill quickly! At this time, I am booking up to 15 months in advance.
