What does it mean to be Grand?
At Grand Bridal Co., we believe every bride deserves to have the day they have always dreamed of. In a world of "fast" everything, being grand is about taking the time for quality. It’s the luxury of a seamless morning where every detail is handled with care. We believe your wedding hair shouldn’t just look good—it should feel like a masterpiece.
To us, grand isn't about being loud; it’s about presence. It’s the effortless blend of sophistication and luxury that turns heads the moment you enter a room. We believe true luxury is found in seamless service, a look tailored specifically for you, and the confidence that comes from knowing your hair is in expert hands.
Grandeur is the sweet spot where sophistication meets magnificence. It’s a sleek, low bun that looks like a work of art, or voluminous waves that hold their shape from the first photo to the last dance. It’s about standing tall, feeling radiant, and owning the room.
Grand Bridal Co. was founded with one simple goal in mind: to create a safe space where all brides are welcomed, honored, and celebrated.
Fun fact! I’m a self-proclaimed Disney Adult (I promise I’m not cringey) who visits Orlando more than the average person. My biggest career goal is doing hair for Disney weddings!
Hello there! My name is McKenzie, a born and raised Grand Rapids native who loves all things hair. I started my career in 2011 (oof!) but my passion for hair and beauty goes generations back, all the way back to my great-grandfather being a barber and my mom being a cosmetologist. Formal and bridal styling has always been my favorite part of my job; loving the simplicity of a bouncy blow-out or details of a twisted updo.
You’ll often find me with a green tea (unsweet Jasmine, of course) in my hands or a green thumb from gardening. When I’m not doom-scrolling at home, I’m out exploring Michigan’s lakeshore towns like Holland & Saugatuck or walking the pier in Grand Haven (2 Pronto Pups for me, please!). I love experimenting with new recipes at home, baking up a sweet treat, or visiting new restaurants with my partner, Kailey.
I’m committed to making your wedding morning go smoothly, sticking to the schedule, keeping the vibes high, and honoring your wishes. I’ll be your right-hand gal, pinning that twist for the 3rd time when it just isn’t sitting right and doing those final touch-ups after getting into your dress. My goal is to leave you feeling your best on your big day and creating a stress-free and safe space to be yourself.
